- Each recipe requires a gear piece, the appropriate ingots to upgrade it from above, and one or two ingredients from the perk you want.
- If two perks share the same ingredient it will randomly choose between them. It is better to use an ingredient that is not used on other perks to ensure you get what you want.
- Gear can have up to two perks. If a piece of gear has 2 perks already one will be replaced
- If no materials are added the gear will be upgraded in rarity without a perk added.
- Upgrading an item will remove its perks and replace them with the new perks if materials are put into the forge
- The count on an item in the ingredients is based on the rarity. Common starts at 3 going to Rare which is 1 along with every rarity after.
